Olaya Velez
Olaya is a cinematographer and Editor based in LA who was raised in Ecuador; There she got a degree on Journalism. Right after finishing school she worked for a local educative TV station where she became a reporter.
Once in the United States she joined the US ARMY. After her separation from the armed forces Velez decided to changed careers so she moved to Los Angeles to studied Film at Columbia College Hollywood where she obtained her bachelors.
Olaya has worked on a wide range of productions from Tv series, to short films and documentaries.
She is also a part time freelance video editor.
